About

Since my father borrow me this camera when I was a little kid, I was hooked to the magic of photography.

From that day on I started not just to see but to observe what surrounds me. When I’m on the field chasing the light, shaping the form, it’s like being in another dimension, breathing the moment, diving deeply into the present and make it eternal. For me taking pictures is a conversation between yourself and the viewer.

Like traveling it’s not about the destination, it’s about the journey.

This project is about the Andes and its people. The trip to Peru and Bolivia was made last year for my portfolio on travel and lifestyle photography. From the sacred valleys around Machu Picchu to the vast loneliness in the highlands of the Altiplano, I was able to see extraordinary places and meet incredible people. One of the best experiences was to attend a local meeting of an association called “The living Incas” and managed to photograph them and visit their local market. The way of living of this people was almost the same for centuries.
